Application's aim

This application allows users to remotely check an IP camera broadcasting an mjpeg flux, wherever they are, thanks to their Firefox OS phone.

Follow the guide to configure this application for your cameras by clicking on the arrows on the edge of the screen.

Main menu

Once the app is launched, the main menu is displayed. Four options are available :

• Check cameras : for viewing the flux of one the cameras already configured
• Manage cameras : for adding/removing/editing cameras
• Help : display this guide
• About : give some details about this application.

Viewing a camera

Once the user has chosen a camera in the list, the flux is shown on the top of the screen.

If something has gone wrong, the test pattern image stays, and a red circle is displayed under it. The controls are also disabled.

Once a connection is established, it is possible to switch to fullscreen, or to take a picture which will be saved in the pictures directory of the phone.

Manage cameras

From this menu, it is possible to add a camera by clicking on the white cross in the top right corner. In the form opened, a few options let the user configure his device. The informations given can be saved by clicking again on the top right icon.

To edit a camera, simply select it in the list and change its settings. To delete the device, there is a dedicated button at the bottom of the page.
